death

The death and what comes after

Since every beginning has an end too, I thought:"Hey Meggie, wouldn't it be a great idea to start your blog with a post about death?💀" So here we go.
At this point, I want to do a shoutout to my religious education teacher, who made me curious about this topic. Now let me first tell what we learned in school about death and the "life" after it.

It's obvious that death is one of the biggest secrets of life. But the first step to an answer is asking questions. Some like these:

  • Is there a life after death? If there is, what does it have to do with our life today and how does it look like?
  • Is there a personalized death? If yes, how does it look like and is it good or bad?
  • Does something like the thing we call "soul" exist? If yes, what is it made of and what happens to it after we die?
  • How does death feel and look like?
  • Do we meet our friends and relatives in "heaven"?
  • Are there angels in heaven?
...and so on.

The problem is that we will never get the answers. We only can think about it and make theories. That's exactly what people have done many years ago. These people are called philosophers and believers. It's philosophy and religion that gave us our ideas and imaginations about questions like these.
But who can prove they're right? - Yes, no one. But there's still an option: science, the only one with proofs. These are called "NDE" or "NearDeathExperience". For the ones who don't know what it is here an explanation:
"Near death experience refers to the sensations reported by people who have come close to dying or were clinically dead for a period of time." (https://www.alleydog.com/glossary/definition.php?term=Near+Death+Experience)

This phenomenon can be structured in three stages:

1. stage: the OBE "out-of-body experience"

What happens: The patient is dying and is declared dead. After that, he hears an awkward noise and sees a way through a tunnel. At the same time, he sees himself from above.

Emotions: strange, confused, agitated

2. stage: stay in a "between-rich"

What happens
a) The patient gets used to the situation and discovers a new body of different nature.
b) He meets different spiritual creatures and deceased relatives and friends.
c) A meeting with a creature made of light, who asks him a question without using words. After that the patient sees his whole life passing by him.

Emotions: love, warmth, joy, peace

3. stage:

What happens: The patient feels a border to the "heaven" and has to return to his physical body.

Emotions: displeasure, dissapointment, internal resistance

These are the three stages of an NDE. There are the same pattern that appear to totally differnt persons with different cultures and from all over the world. So there has to be something that comes after death, that is meant for us all the same way.
That's it from my part. I hope you like my post and that I made you courius about life. There are plenty of documentations about death, especially NDEs, on the internet, so don't waist your time and get to know more about it.

See you soon
your Maggie ❤
